Peter van Os (MSc) holds a position as a Senior Project Manager at Netherlands Organisation for applied scientific research TNO (TNO) on various projects concerning Gas Treatment with focus on CO2 capture and utilisation. He is internationally oriented with EU projects as well as (joint) Industry Projects. The customers include national and international companies and SME's. He was coordinator of the CESAR project on the development of post combustion capture processes and has been a work package leader in it's successor projects OCTAVIUS and HiPerCap. This train of projects have made a valuable contribution to the development and demonstration of post combustion CO2 capture. He is currently the coordinator of a large full chain CCUS project in Europe that is called ALIGN‐CCUS. In this project, with 30 partners and an operating budget of more then 22 million Euro, we work on the full CCUS chain: Capture, Transport, Storage, Utilisation and Social Acceptance. The goal is to develop blue prints for decarbonising of industrial clusters.

As Assistant Secretary, Steven Winberg is responsible for the management and oversight of the Office of Fossil Energy's research and development program, encompassing coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as the Office of Petroleum Reserves.
Mr. Winberg has 39 years of experience in the energy industry. He began his career at the engineering firm Foster Wheeler as an engineer on coalfired utility boilers. From there, he spent 14 years with Consolidated Natural Gas working in a variety of positions before becoming Vice President for CONSOL Energy Research & Development. Immediately prior to coming to DOE, Mr. Winberg served as a Senior Program Manager at Battelle Memorial Institute.
Ms. Mallika Nanduri BHATT

Mallika Nanduri Bhatt is the Director General of Policy and Planning for Innovation and Energy Technology at Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). Her team advances Government‐wide initiatives to support clean technology and energy innovation, and operates the Clean Growth Hub ‐ a whole‐of‐government focal point for clean technology focused on helping stakeholders navigate federal supports.
Mallika began her career at NRCan working in the Office of Energy Efficiency, as an economist. In late 2007, she took on the role of Senior Policy Advisor to the Deputy Minister, gaining a broad perspective on the full spectrum of Canadian natural resource issues. She also spent several years at Environment and Climate Change Canada, where she held senior positions managing key partnerships and working on environmental policy issues such as conservation and climate change adaptation. She also served as Chief Results and Delivery Officer for the department, prior to re‐joining NRCan.
Mallika holds a Master of Natural Resource Management from Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, British Columbia) and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec).

Mr. Froemmel has 20 years of experience in the energy industry including globally acting leading fuel cell and hydrogen companies, e.g. FuelCell Energy. Based on his previous work in the board of Hydrogen Europe and the FCH‐JU governing board in Brussels, Belgium, he is well connected within the hydrogen and fuel cell industry in Europe.
Mr. Froemmel works for Sunfire GmbH in Germany as VP Sales & Marketing. In this position, Mr. Froemmel is responsible for the global coordination of sales processes including business development, marketing, sales and customer relationship management. Sunfire develops and manufactures steam electrolysers (SOEC) for production of renewable hydrogen and synthetic fuels.
Mr. Froemmel is also General Manager of Sunfire Fuel Cells GmbH, a company developing and manufacturing high temperature fuel cells (SOFC).
Mr. Froemmel was born in 1961. He received a degree in electronics‐technology and precision engineering from the University of Technology Dresden in 1988 and a diploma in Business Administration and Economics in 1996.

An engineer by practice, the company's' chief executive officer, Aniruddha Sharma is responsible for all day‐to‐day operations and leads the company's product and customer development strategy. While pursuing his Masters Degree in Statistics at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, Aniruddha co‐founded Carbon Clean Solutions in the year 2009.
Selected as one of the Top 50 Brightest Young Climate Leaders, he was a part of the youth delegation to COP15 and COP/MOP5 (Kyoto Protocol), held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in the fall of 2009 (December 7th to 18th). He has also been selected as one of the top 27 entrepreneurs working on accelerated commercialization of Technology & Innovation by Accelerator India. Currently working towards tying partnerships for 'Carbon capture and reuse/sequestration', he was invited to the esteemed World Economic Forum's India summit in 2011.

Fareed ALASALY is a Senior Advisor to the Minister of Energy. Fareed is the lead negotiator for the Saudi Arabia on G20 energy and climate issues and a team member for the G20 Global forum on Steel Excess Capacity as well as Trade and Investment.
Fareed was a member of the Kingdom delegation for the accession of Saudi Arabia to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and continues to lead energy, industry, environmental and trade remedy issues with the WTO. He also is a member of the Saudi team on climate change issues and Led the Saudi team in instituting Carbon Capture and Storage Technology under the climate change process in 2005. In addition, he is a member of the Saudi Designated National Authority for clean development mechanism projects. Fareed worked with Saudi Aramco for the period 1979‐1997 as a Corporate Advisor and Senior Planning Consultant on International Energy Policies and Regulations in Corporate Planning. Furthermore, Fareed worked in various aspects of the company including: finance, investment portfolio management, local development, planning operations and logistics of the oil industry, as well as materials supply management.
Fareed is Master Degree graduate from Saudi Arabian King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
